If you have a pretty good idea about what you want your new design to look like, we want to make sure we deliver that vision for you. It’s important to observe a few principles we’ll point out here in order for the work to go as smooth as possible. Since the vast majority of our clients come to us open to our direction, we need to switch gears a bit to accommodate specific direction from the client.
It might go without saying that it is absolutely critical to communicate exactly what your vision entails. If you know every single nuance of your design, including what your add-to-cart button will look like, we need to know that. On the other hand, if your directions are a little bit more general, “I want a green store design that sells earth-friendly products,” then we need to hear that, too.
It’s important to realize that EYStudios is a very pro-active studio that has very strong ideas on what will and won’t work in a store design to aid in conversions. If you have perused our portfolio and like what you see, we would ask that you consider it came out of our own creative initiative. Of course, clients will always suggest a brilliant idea or revision to what we’ve done, but it will still coincide with our overall direction. We are very open to feedback.
There are also dozens of stores we’ve done for clients that are not in our portfolio, because they do not reflect our best work. Will we do the work you want us to do, even if it’s not what we believe to be best? Absolutely—you’re the client, after all. We just feel we owe it to you to give you our best. That’s what you’re hiring us for.
