As 2011 begins to fade into memory, I’ve been reading and watching a lot of year-end re-caps in the media. While it’s good to get a perspective on where we’ve been, I’d argue it’s more important to know where we’re going. Every re-cap is merely a reaction to something that happened. In 2012, the challenge to business owners is to be more pro-active instead of reactive.

Although the latter was infinitely more challenging, it definitely produced the most results.
